This week we are looking at Grease Live and comparing it to the classic film. Check out the Performing Arts page for some notes and video clips.
Is this version actually live? Some sets look very realistic, like a film set.
I cannot see whre the audience is? At 1 point the audeince seemed to be interacting with performers when they watched the cheer leaders, or was that cast?
I see some lighting effects but the green tinge of the data show make it hard to tell.
There are lost of camera moves, link crane shots which are not from the audiences perspective.
